Maybe It’s Time To Take A Break
"Sometimes the most effective productivity habit is to step away and take a break."
--Brendon Burchard
Ahhh... It's OK to take a break!
I'm giving you permission. Right now.
We made it through the end of the school year with all the events, parties, recitals, championships, etc etc etc. And now summer is in full swing with camps, get togethers, pool days, trips, and play dates…. A break may be just what is needed…
Productivity is not about how many things can you get done and check off the list in a day. It's not about how fast you're getting the tasks done. It's not about proving how valuable you are to the world...
It's about moving you toward your purpose. Using your time so wisely that you protect your energy, your resources, and your priorities so that you can use them to create the life that you want.
Are you living in joy and possibility?
Are you telling a story with your life that leaves a beautiful legacy?
Are you giving the best of who you are to those you love most?
These are real questions... And maybe it's time to take a break, step back from the task-oriented days, and really take a look at life.
What do I want my story to be?
And how can I craft my days into a routine that begins to move me toward that life?
One step to get started? Take a look at your calendar! If I can't tell what your top priorities are and what you want from your life by looking at how you spend your time each day - it's time to re-evaluate!
Not sure what that Ideal Life might be? Never really take the time to think about it? Maybe it's time to take a break and daydream a little!
I'm offering my “Jumpstart to Energy, Joy and Possibility” Coaching Program again this summer! Schedule a a free Breakthrough Session to set aside one hour and dream big about what life could look like! We’ll discover what that vision could be for you, what’s getting in the way of making it happen and determine the #1 thing that will start moving you toward that life TODAY!
But for today... What will your break look like?
